tugas bahasa inggris (Memilih Produk Terbaik)

1.  What is the best computer brand ? how do you compare a computer brand with other ?
·        Apple is the best computer brand.
I could rant about this for days. But in the end, I believe this post is for highest quality computers, not best priced. Apple Computer does make the highest quality computers out there, the are made with aluminum uni-body engineering (one piece of aluminum). They offer SSDs, which are about 4x faster than a traditional hard drive, and they have no moving parts, so they are incredibly reliable. That also comes native on MacBook Airs. That is hard to come by. Also, every component is clearly thought out, and cleverly designed, like the asymmetrical fans. When the blades are positioned symmetrically, it created a single, identifiable frequency. But when the blades are positioned asymmetrically, it spreads the sound over a variety of frequencies, which makes it quieter, and nearly imperceptible to the user. Then there's Thunderbolt connectivity. Developed by Intel, Thunderbolt delivers transfer speeds up to 2x faster than USB 3.0, and up to 20x faster than USB 2.0. Thunderbolt has a whopping 10 Gbps transfer speed. These are just three of the many examples, as to why the Mac is a premium quality computer. Yes, they may cost a lot, but it is actually pretty reasonable compared to the manufacturing difficulties, and quality components that make the Mac.

·        Toshiba vs Acer
Both Toshiba and Acer make a variety of entry-level and mid-range laptops priced between $350 and $1000. This means that anyone looking for a new laptop is likely to compare Toshiba and Acer models directly. This guide will help you decide who gets your money.
Ø  Design and Build Quality
Toshiba and Acer both cater to the same laptop market, so there is actually some similarity in how they design their laptops. Both companies tend to re-use a laptop chassis between different models, which means you might find a $350 laptop and a $650 laptop with the same appearance but different hardware. Also, both companies make a variety of laptops between 10.1" netbooks and 17" desktop replacement behemoths. Toshiba even offers a gaming line known as Qosimo that offers an 18.4" display.
Despite these similarities, Toshiba build quality is often a bit better than Acer's. The keyboards of Toshiba's laptops are not the best in he business, but they're certainly better than the cheap-feeling chiclet keyboard found on many Acer laptops. Most Toshiba laptops feel a bit more solid than those made by Acer when the chassis is stressed, as well.
Both of these companies do make concessions in order to meet a given price point, but Toshiba wins this category overall.
Ø  Value
The hardware specifications of Toshiba and Acer laptops are generally similar. Both build numerous Intel laptops based on everything from Atom to Intel Core i7. The only major difference is Acer's use of some AMD processors in their mid-range laptops. Toshiba usually doesn't place AMD processors in these products - instead, they strictly use AMD processors in ultraportables and in budget-oriented laptops ($500 or under).
Given the hardware similarities, it's not terribly surprising to find that neither company has an advantage when it comes to value. Both laptop manufacturers offer laptops in the sub-$500 range, and both offer surprisingly well equipped laptops above $700 with features like discrete graphics. The only possible edge might go to Toshiba, because it does offer a Qosimo gaming laptop for around $1000. Acer does not sell any laptops designed specifically for gaming.
Overall, this part of the competition must end in a tie.

2.  What is the best computer software you use so far ? how do you compare a software with other ?

Ø  Linux is the Best Operation System

For non-techie computer users, choosing the best operating system can be a daunting, if not frustrating, exercise. How do you choose between the obvious options Windows 7 and Mac OS X? Better yet, how does Linux stack up against these popular options? More to the point, why are many computer experts touting the versatility and robustness of Linux over the more mainstream Windows and Mac? Could it really be possible that while Windows and Mac OS X lead in terms of popularity among the non-computer experts, Linux has quietly grabbed the distinction as the best operating system out in the market?
The best feature of Linux operating systems is its low susceptibility to virus and malware infestation. If you have been a Windows user for a long time, you would know how problematic Windows is when it comes to viruses. With Linux, you are spared from all the hassle of having to constantly update your anti-virus software or scan your computer every so often.
Linux is almost always a free operating system with multiple sources distribution. In contrast, Windows and Mac OS X are some of the most expensive operating systems available. If you want to cut on costs, you can definitely benefit from choosing Linux for your everyday needs.
Linux is an open source platforms with plenty of developers working on applications, functions, features and add-ons that are guaranteed to improve your user experience. Contrary to popular belief, many Linux functions rival those of Windows and Mac OS. All that you need to do is try it out for a couple of weeks to personally see for yourself how Linux is so much better than many perceive it to be.
Ø  Linux vs Windows
Linux vs Windows  has been a subject of debate since the inception of computers.
Let me begin with an introduction of the Linux operating system as I imagine many of you must be pretty new to this. In fact, a common misconception is that Linux is ‘ridiculously complicated’. While I admit getting used to Linux may take a while for an average windows user, it is definitely easy to use.
Linux comes in various flavours, also known as ‘distributions’. The most popular Linux distribution is ‘Ubuntu’, pronounced as ‘oo-boon-tu.
Bundled software
Windows 7 by default has very minimal software set, the basic features that we need – word processor, spread sheet and a presentation software are not present. You’ll have to purchase and install the MS Office suite separately, this is something that should be bundled with the operating system. The question I ask is “What good is an operating system, if it doesn’t provide the basic features?”
On the other hand  Ubuntu 12.04 comes with the LibreOffice suite (a Microsoft Office Equivalent) preinstalled. It also has F-spot, an image editing program that and an Instant messaging client called Empathy – that has chat provisioning for Facebook, G-Talk, Yahoo,MSN and VOIP capabilities all under a single application.
Media
Windows comes with Windows media player, which is pretty much useless without codecs, as majority of the videos/movies that we watch require codecs like Xvid. So there is a need to download a codec pack before Windows media player becomes fully functional.
Ubuntu is bundled with Movie Player, and also requires downloading codecs.
However, in both the operating systems, it is very easy to watch videos by simply installing VLC media player.
Security
I have been using Windows since windows the days of Windows 95, and I can tell you that Windows 7 has some pretty good security features that, if implemented properly, can give you quite a secure system to work with. Its firewall has advanced features that you can configure. However, there are many who believe that Windows still remains a weak operating system from a security standpoint.
Linux on the other hand , has always been a secure operating system since the early days. It has often been the subject of debate that an open source operating system cannot be as secure as a proprietary one, but Linux has proved  that belief to be untrue. Overall, I believe that Linux offers much more security by default.

3.  How do you say that your computer is the best ?
My computer is the best because :
- Sturdy construction among all the laptops.
- Usually the most stable systems, and performance well. This may be due to the background of your computer so the HP weve experienced practically.
- The most comprehensive equipment, usually there are two charger cables, hdd already in recovery, dapet cd / dvd his clear manual (not user guide in doang laptop, but dapet book). well as
- The most friendly to the pocket price (if other than branded goods)
